Enhancement Request: Admin Override for Approvals

Admins should have the ability to override assigned approvals, remove approvers, or reassign approvals to any user within the system. This has become an ongoing issue when an individual is listed as an approver but is no longer needed, unavailable, or when an approval must be reassigned. As an Admin, I should be able to approve on behalf of the assigned approver, remove that approver, or reassign the approval to another user in Ironclad. Admins should function as superusers across all workflows. Currently, the lack of this functionality is forcing users to restart workflows entirely just to complete the approval process.

I would really appreciate this. I've had to help sellers move from the "Sign" stage back to the "Review" stage for a quick formatting edit and then it goes to Legal again for the review when all we changed was something rather inconsequential.

I also agree with this enhancement request. Many times I will need to approve on behalf of the approver - just to bypass the step. It could easily be reassigned to another approver with this enhancement.

As an Admin, I always add myself to any approval group so I can bypass by quickly assigning the approval to myself (I always use groups with a default approver instead of assigning one direct approver in the workflow designer, this way reassignment to myself or other possible approvers is easy) and that solves for the part of your concern. However, it would be much cleaner if we had the ability to simply remove the approval if not needed, rather than assign to ourselves to approve. Currently if an approval is configured at the workflow designer level then that approval cannot be removed in the inflight workflow, only ad-hoc approvals can be removed.
