Don't reset approval if document is uploaded

Hello Community,

In workflow designer we can configure the reset approval setting as if some action happend on document like Signature packet documents redlined, generated, uploaded or deleted. Is it possible that if just a New version is uploaded then it should not reset the approval? Rest all action should still reset the Approval.

Thanks for the question. At the moment, that level of granularity is not supported in Workflow Designer. The reset option “Signature packet documents redlined, generated, uploaded or deleted” treats a new version upload as one of the actions that resets approval, alongside uploads, redlines, generation, and deletion.

As a workaround, if an admin is uploading the new version during Review, they can uncheck the reset approvals option for that specific update so approvals do not reset for that action.

So in short: there isn’t currently a configuration that excludes only new version uploads while keeping the other document reset triggers enabled.
