San Francisco Ironclad Local was a wonderful reminder of why this community is so valuable.
The event brought together a thoughtful, generous, and highly engaged group of legal operations, contracting, and CLM professionals who were eager to learn, share, and connect. From the in-person workshop materials to the conversations around Jurist and the future of AI contracting, the day felt practical, energizing, and genuinely forward-looking.
One of my biggest takeaways was this: AI contracting is evolving quickly, and so must our strategy. The discussion around contract intelligence, task assistance, decision intelligence, and autonomous execution made it clear that successful adoption will require more than technology. It will require structured data, human oversight, cross-functional alignment, governance, and a community willing to learn together.
I also appreciated the opportunity to meet people in person, exchange ideas, and be reminded that behind every workflow, implementation, and contract process are professionals doing meaningful work to move their organizations forward.
If there is an Ironclad Local coming to your area, I highly encourage you to attend. You will leave with practical insights, new connections, and renewed inspiration for what is possible in the future of contracting.
