Time Stamp of Redlines in Editor

Hello,

We are facing a lot of confusion since the redlines from one version to the next are not time stamped when someone made them. Outside of having to scroll through activity and summarizing changes and matching them to the right version, does anyone know if its possible to add time stamps directly in the document, similar to what the Word track changes does? Thanks!

Hi Michelle — thanks for flagging this, and you've got the situation right: Ironclad Editor doesn't currently display timestamps on individual redlines. You'll see who made a change and what they changed, but not when, so the Activity Feed is the only in-product path today — which, as you note, means matching entries back to versions by hand.

One thing that may help in the meantime: the timestamp is preserved in the document itself even though we don't surface it in Editor. If you download the version and open it in Word, hovering over a tracked change should show the author and date/time, the same way native Track Changes does.

We have noted this feedback to our team as a feature request. I don't have a timeline to share, but it's on our radar.
