Hi everyone. Apologies if this is not the right place to ask this, but I'd like to know if it's possible to do the following:

• Change the type of an Attribute (e.g. from date to text)
• Have an Attribute with date type also have the option to mention "TBC" in case the date is not yet known

Hi @Philippe! In Ironclad, a Property’s data type cannot be changed after creation. The workaround is to create a new property with the desired type, such as Text. Please review the Property's current usages first, since Properties may be referenced by workflows, configurations, and records.

A Date Property must contain a valid date and it cannot be text; if the date is unknown, you can leave it blank. If the document must display “TBC,” you could create a helper Text formula property which will print "TBC" if a date has not been provided. You could also add a separate text Dropdown property, e.g. Date Status, with options such as TBC or Known and utilise a condition to trigger the date question only if the answer to "Date Status" is "Known"
