I have an interesting scenario and would love to hear how y'all are solving for this.
I have a workflow that has standard vs. non standard terms baked in. A User can select options during launch that is already pre-approved & if their deal meets certain thresholds. We're running into instances where during archive, there isn't an easy way to determine if standard clauses have changed and users aren't updating with the Edit Info function (Ie: At the start of launch, the document is fully standard terms, but during negotiation certain clauses are becoming non standard.). I'm curious if folks have dual workflows: 1) where it's fully standard, we don't allow edits, & permissions allow for auto archive and 2) a workflow for non-standard negotiations where we know definitively that we'll need to validate the data in archive.
would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this!
