I am sure this has a solution but here we go. When a workflow is assigned to a reviewer and a new document is uploaded or an edit is made or an email is sent to the workflow Activity and you don't @mention the reviewer there is no real time email notification about the change. Example, a new redlined version of the document is uploaded to the workflow, legal is the current reviewer. Even though the workflow is set to trigger legal review if new documents or edits are made since they are the current reviewer there is no reset for review. The broader question might be how are Legal teams handling activity, documents and uploads without email notifications? We currently leave everything in review with Legal until there is a clean copy ready for signatures and then we approve.
