Goal: Do away with the concept of defined "Effective Date" and point solely to the date of last signature. Ironclad to capture that as [Agreement Date].
Problems:
- Cannot incorporate [Agreement Date] into the workflow without an associated question on the launch form. This prohibits capturing that piece of information, even if wanting to do so manually post signing.
- Cannot seem replicate the functionality of the canned workflow, wherein a launch form question [Agreement Effective Date Type] contains the option "When the agreement is signed." With this option selected, Ironclad does in fact capture the date of last signature, but that appears to happen within a black box.
I am almost certain I am not the first person to stumble over this hurdle and a solution exists.
One thought is to create a locked and not required launch form question to establish [Agreement Date]. If possible, create a formula where [Agreement Date] = = [Gecko Robotics Signer Date Field], using this formula as the default response to the launch form question. Set the signing order so [Gecko Robotics Signer Date Field] will be last. Thoughts?
EDIT: I just discovered [Signing Date] as a hidden field within the formula creation modal. Might be a solution. Will share any other findings as additional edits.
