How to save each version of the contract separately in your Google Drive

I'm hoping someone can help me brainstorm how to accomplish what I'm hoping for. Instead of having a single file location in the Google Drive for each MSA, I want to have multiple file locations with version tags.

What is happening right now is if I upload a v2 the Google Drive file updates to match the v2, but the data from v1 is overwritten. What I want to happen is: when I upload or save a v2 the v1 is stored to the folder and the v2 is also stored to the folder with a v2 label.

Therefore my drafts folder for each customer would look something like:

Counterparty Name - My Company Name - MSA --effective date (v1)

Counterparty Name - My Company Name - MSA --effective date (v2)

Counterparty Name - My Company Name - MSA --effective date (v3)

ect...
