Hey all - Wondering if we can get a thread started for QOL requests in WFD. I'm thinking of anything that would make our lives easier when building. Here's what I have so far:
- Ability to reorganize form sections (as we can approval roles) without dragging them around.
- Ability to auto-collapse sections in the form while in WFD. We have about a gorillian questions/sections so scrolling through makes it cumbersome.
- Ability to hide fields from the workflow metadata completely. I have formula fields that are persistent in the workflow but they are only used to help route things on the back-end; user shouldn't see this.
- Rich text formatting in the submission form. I'd love to bold or italicize, hyperlink ability, etc.
- Ability to organize and lock metadata in the workflows, including section headers. We create sections and nest fields and data in a deliberate manner but then it's all jumbled into the right side of the workflow seemingly randomized. I'd love to leverage our layout so users become accustomed to looking for certain data in certain spots. [IMPLEMENTED]
- Add ability to relate multiple records. It's rare (at least for us) that a request will have only one linked record. If we have a change order ideally we could link the SOW it's changing along with the underlying MSA for the terms.
- Move the new 'pause notifications' sandbox toggle from the top of the submission form to the bottom near the "Submit" button - that's where we remember we need to turn them off so it would be nice to have it handy.
