Sometimes the Workflow Creator wants to add a comment when launching a workflow.
For example, in a Procurement workflow, a Workflow Creator might want to explain a bit about why we are buying the product/service or they they have already negotiated the commercial terms or that the request is super urgent (or not urgent at all). Maybe they want to tag someone into the workflow. Either way, they want to comment and add more context.
Currently, they need to wait until the workflow is launched and in Review, before they can add a comment. But this is not ideal since they have to remember to wait around and take an additional step to leave a comment.
My idea, is to add a Comment box as optional to the Launch Form. Either as a standard feature or as a question Field Type
Note: this is information that I want added as a comment to the Workflow, not information stored in the Repository.
It would be similar to the functionality that a user sees when they click "Edit Info" and they have to add a comment to Update.
