Hi Ironclad Product Team, I would like to suggest the development of a Legal Stamp feature in the workflows 😊
The 2 principal scenarios we are trying to cover 👇
1. When customers/vendors do not sign via our Ironclad <> DocuSign integration
- Issue: Our signatories will receive an e-signature request/packet that will not have our Company branding and the question becomes: how can they be sure they can sign those documents, are they sure that the version being presented to them was reviewed and approval by our Legal Team?
- Suggested Solution: With the workflow fully approved and in the Sign Step (or make this the final approval before moving into Sign), if we could upload a Legal Stamp image (or whatever other file format) to the backend and then have a "Attach Legal Stamp" button surface (for Legal Team Users only) which they could press and the system would then automatically stamp or watermark the documents in the workflow with the "Legal - Approved" image. Then that pdf would be downloaded and shared with the Customer to be routed for signature via their e-signature solution.
When the packet arrives in our signatory's inbox they would see the "Legal - Approved" by our team and would be assured they can move forth with signing.
2. When we are collecting signatures via our Ironclad <> DocuSign integration
- Issue: Although our signatories receive the DocuSign email with our branding, it would be wonderful to get the stamp or watermark attached to the final version of the documents.
What often occurs is that commercial terms will be altered after legal has pushed their "approved" button in Ironclad, so giving Legal one last opportunity to skim over the documents, attach the stamp/watermark before the system can generate the final pdf that will be included in the signature packet.
- Suggested Solution: The same "Attach Legal Stamp" button will be surfaced, for Legal Team Users only (when this button would surface I imagine could be either as the final step/task in Review Step OR it can be surfaced in the Sign Step, before the Signature Coordinator takes control to create and send the signature packet).
The Signature Coordinator at our company is never the attorney, that is why we would need the "attach legal Stamp" button surfaced before the Signature Coordinator can send out the packet.
Any iterations of this legal stamp/watermark would be welcome!
