View Placed Signature Tags in Signature Packet (Sign Step)

Hi there, it would help our teams immensely if we could view at the Sign step where tags have been placed. This would allow us to locate any missing signature tags, if there are any in the draft.

We do understand Ironclad alerts us if a document contains no signature tags, but we're trying to address a scenario where tags have been removed from some parts of the document but not others, and the user is reviewing the document in its entirety to place tags before sending for final signature.

I love this idea - what eSignature system do you use? Does that system allow you to view the tags when you do it in that system?

Can you show some screenshots of what you are looking for?

Hi @David_Wieseneck, we're using DocuSign, integrated with our Ironclad instance, which does not allow us to see where tags have been placed, like we would be able in the DocuSign platform itself. To confirm, we like that our users can manage the signature process entirely within Ironclad, it would just be great to arm them with this tool to avoid having to review the entire document at the Archive step to ensure the document has been fully-executed.

In essence, we're hoping for something like the Document view in Workflow Designer, which displays where tags have been placed in the template. We engaged Ironclad Support and while they understand the request, did confirm this functionality does not exist today.

The good thing is the multi-doc breaking issue seems to be resolved with a recent product release, so hopefully you are force to place tags less often:
