Idea: Paper Source: My Company’s Paper & Counterparty Paper

Workflow Designer gives us three options for Paper Source:

1. My Company's Paper
2. Counterparty Paper
3. My Company's Paper & Counterparty Paper

But #3 is actually "My Company's Paper or Counterparty Paper" since a workflow creator has to select one option or the other.

My idea is to add a #4 to allow for a workflow creator to select both My Company's Paper and Counterparty Paper

Or change #3 to "My Company’s Paper &/or Counterparty Paper"  & allow us to change the Paper Source question to a multi-select question.

The use case is if we have a workflow with Company Paper, but also want to collect some Counterparty paper at the same time. If you need to redline/edit this Counterparty Paper, it needs to be added as an Additional Document (adding a File Attachment field does not work)

For example, we have a Procurement workflow for Consultants. The paper source is My Company’s Paper & Counterparty Paper. This is to allow for the situations where the consultant is fairly professional (& has a Consulting agreement they use for all their clients) and also for sporadic freelancers that defer to our Company template paper.

But there are a bunch of times where the consultant has an SOW or Order Form that they use, but since that is insufficient as a contract, we add that as Appendix to our Company template paper.

@David_Wieseneck How do you account for any situations where you may not know exact paper type right away? This is something that came up at my old work all the time- an employee would know they need an agreement and might have an estimate or have have started talking to a vendor but they don't actually have an agreement in hand yet or know much. We would already encourage folks to submit requests sooner and if they didnt have paper yet, they just wouldn't upload (legal confirmed paper type during review, not on intake).... but Ironclad forces you to know paper type since this is first part of any workflow- has to be third party paper or a pre-loaded template. Any ideas of how you have worked through when things are not straight forward right away?
