Would love any ideas or solutions for the follow signing issue with Counterparties:
- Workflows are set up for Counterparties to sign first, but when they insist on us signing first...
- We flip the order and sign first, but that will automatically send Counterparty signature request, which causes some unnecessary back/forth we when often already know that a Counterparty won't use (in our case, Adobe Sign) or will want to wet sign (a lot of our Counterparties prefer this) – but we can't stop the automatic Counterparty sign request going out once we sign (or can we?).
- We can of course remove the Counterparty signer and sign our end, but that then 'completes' the Workflow and puts it in repository (we auto-archive Workflows), with only our signature 🤦 Then we download and email the partially signed contract to Counterparty to sign.
- Once signed and returned, we need to find the relevant contract in Repository, add the fully signed version and delete the partially signed one (there's no 'replace' doc feature in Repository as far as I'm aware?)
Any ideas or solutions to this one?
