I was excited to see Ironclad roll out the recent multi-document workflow updates (see here, if you aren't familiar). I'm curious to know whether people are moving towards creating "super" workflows (i.e. single workflows that handle multiple contract types) with this new functionality.
In my case, I have contract types A and B, and currently have separate workflows for each. Since B is often added onto A, I've added B as an extra document that can be conditionally added to an A workflow. But now I have the same contract living in two separate places. This isn't ideal as any updates made to B now need to happen in two places. Not terrible but not ideal.
As a solution, I could just get rid of the B workflow all together, and turn the A workflow into an A or B workflow, where people can generate either A, B, or Both. This is a better experience for Ironclad users within the company. But starts getting complicated, and is apparently discouraged by Ironclad. And why not combine workflows A, B, and C while I'm at it?
Would love to know what people think – anyone strongly in favor of going all in on multi-doc functionality?
