As Senior Legal Operations Analyst, you will be the driving force of innovation, scale, technology, and automation for the Scopely legal team. You will be responsible for building and streamlining the strategic technologies of the Legal department as our company expands around the world. You will be part of a team that implements key systems, optimizes processes, manages projects, creates objectives, and reports performance metrics to deliver legal services in the most collaborative, friendly, and efficient manner, including supporting both internal and external resource management. You'll get to work with some super inspiring people, including our Finance, IT, Workplace, and People teams and a growing team of external vendors and law firms.

Responsibilities:
Overview:
- Oversee operational processes to maintain and support legal systems and technology, including contract management, ebilling/matter management, e-signature, workflow automation, and document storage.
- Assist in developing relevant project and process documentation and self-help tools as needed: legal intranet, playbooks, legal training, Q&A, process flows, etc.
- Supports the legal operations function on assigned cross-functional and departmental initiatives.
Contract Management:
- Administer our contract management system by continuously optimizing existing workflows, developing new workflows, and integrating with existing cross-functional tools and technologies
- Oversee and help streamline contract workflow processes, including creation, assignment, organization, tracking, document storage, and template/playbook management
- Manage process for verifying existence of an active services agreement and associating the correct parent contract for SOW workflows in Ironclad
- Manage process for archiving executed agreements and capturing appropriate metadata fields for our repository
- Be a primary point of contact to the business to answer questions regarding legal contract review support and processes, and triage incoming contract-related requests
E-Billing/Matter Management:
- Oversee our outside counsel and e-billing/matter management processes, including
- Manage law firm engagement letters and onboarding with AP, opening and closing matters in Legal Tracker
- Provide first-level review of all legal invoices to ensure proper submission and enforcement of outside counsel billing guidelines
- Oversee monthly accrual process and prepare monthly accrual reports for AP
- Manage integration with Oracle for approved invoices sent to AP
- Manage new timekeeper review and approval
- Interact independently with in-house legal team and outside counsel regarding missing accruals or invoices, disputes, or to answer other questions that may arise concerning invoicing/status, onboarding, guidelines, and any system or process issues
Experience:
- 5-7 years of legal operations, contracts/case management, legal project management, legal support, paralegal, outside counsel management, or legal client management experience
- Direct experience implementing and/or managing legal technology, e.g. Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), e-Discovery, e-signatures, Enterprise Legal Management (ELM), e-Billing/Document Management, IP Management Systems, litigation management tools, e-Rooms/databases, etc. Bonus points for Ironclad or Legal Tracker!
- Proven ability to collect and analyze available information, and execute effectively and autonomously in complex or ambiguous situations
