Overview: The Director of Legal Operations, North America for BASF Corporation will be key in creating processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the legal team, facilitate change, and control costs. This individual, together with his/her/their team, will drive the implementation and use of proper systems, processes, and tools to deliver legal services in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, including supporting both internal and external resource management. This position will report directly to the SVP & General Counsel in North America and functionally to the Head of Global Legal Operations & Innovation in Germany. This role will work closely with the legal team and business stakeholders at all levels.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Legal Department or Law Firm operations preferred.
Location: Florham Park, NJ is preferred, or remote option is available for the right candidate.
