We are excited to announce that admins can now perform bulk actions on their records in the repository.
With this release, in addition to the previous features around bulk exporting CSVs, and editing permissions for users to view, or edit records, admins will now be able to:
- Bulk Edit Properties
- Users will be able to reconcile properties across records, update their values, and remove unnecessary properties.
- Bulk Download
- This will allow users to download the attachments for all the selected records as a single zip.
- Bulk Delete
- Users will be able to permanently delete records from their repository.
In addition, we are also excited to announce two more exciting features with this release:
- Checkboxes
- In addition to using custom saved views for doing bulk actions, users will be able to leverage checkboxes to select records for performing the bulk actions.
- Autocomplete
- When editing metadata in bulk, or via the edit panel for individual records, users will now be able to leverage autocomplete to see what values have already been used for that property in the repository. Users will thus be able to standardize the data in their repository with the help of autocomplete, especially for properties that started as dropdown or multi-select questions.
- In addition, this auto-complete functionality will soon also be making its way to the archive step.
