IDEA: Instructions for Signature Coordinator in Sign Stage

Hi IC Community!

IDEA: Add [option to include] instructions for the signature coordinator in the Sign stage.

We have documented processes/best practices in our knowledge base, but it would be even more efficient and helpful to have those how-to instructions re: signatures [and best practices for different signature scenarios] in Ironclad for the signature coordinator to see, in the Sign stage, before he tags a packet and sends it out for signatures.

Currently, in workflow designer, we have the option to include instructions in the review stage for a participant reviewer.

So I'm just asking for that same feature for the signature coordinator in the Sign stage.

Hi Lynn,

When you say currently you can add instructions for a participant reviewer in the review stage, are you refering to via a comment in the activity feed or is there some other space for instructions that I am not aware of?

In workflow designer, in the review page, for each participant, on the right side under the duplicate icon, to the left of the little trash can icon, it says "Add Instructions". See attached screenshot.

I'd like the same option for the signature coordinator in the sign stage.

This enhancement would be great! We have some users who can easily figure out how to Place Tags & route a document but others that get to the Sign step and (even though we have internal documents/user guides available) cannot figure out what to do next or do not add in all the required tags - having extra guidance right there on the screen would be great.

This is still an absolute need, especially the "Add Instruction" part for the signature coordinator - similar to the "Add Instruction" function for the approver.
