I sent the below request to Support. They said this is not something they can change right now.
1. Can we not have the workflow owner added? I think I have asked this in the past, and the answer was no, but I am hoping this has changed since then. This is a big ask for us. We do not want the workflow owner added as an approver, ever. I believe I had a workaround in place for this when I was at Impossible, and I would love to implement in my workflows here at Convoy.
2. If the workflow owner has to be added, can we remove the line separating their approval (see attached picture). We want the workflow owner to approve ASAP, and not wait for all the other approvers. In our world, Legal approves last so they can immediately send for signature.
Does this bother all of you? What are your work arounds? I know I have seen posts about assigning the owner approval to yourself...but that doesn't help if I am not also the Legal approver as I can't approve if there are any pending approvals (question 2). Does this only frustrate me?
My ideal situation: when the workflow reverts back to review, only the Legal (or other designated) approver becomes unapproved. No need to add new approvers or unapproved everyone.
