HI IC community,
Sharing a bug we have run into a couple times lately that is causing a lot of hassle for me- curious if anyone else has noticed this problem.
Situation: The workflow owner submitted an amendment request. It was a simple amendment with no additional cost but the owner said there was a 240k cost (this was the price of the original agreement so they thought they needed to add it again). When I updated her intake questions to No Monetary Value, the Yes/No Monetary Value question saved but when I then tried to remove the 240k they originally entered... the dollar value doesn't go away. I tried to do this a couple ways with no success.
After I noticed it on one record, I then noticed it on others when there was an error at intake. I submitted a support ticket and emailed several times. Today marks an entire week and they just got back to to me to confirm there is in fact a bug (yes, I noticed haha) and that engineer is working on it for "future release"...
Larger Issue: Not being able to remove dollar amounts or other metadata fields impact overall flow of workflow. It creates unnecessary business concern when there is a simple error, adds approvers who aren't needed and causes a lot of churn when this should be an easy fix. To top it off, admin's don't even have the ability to manually remove an approver in an attempt to clean up the record AND since the incorrect data flows into repo, this leaves us with messy and inaccurate reporting (no, Idon't want to have to manually clean up all fields on archive stage, that's not a real solution). This is a BIG issue that should be prioritized soon, not in a future release. In the meantime, I added myself to all approver groups so if I need to quickly remove someone, I can assign to myself but this is also messy and from an audit perspective, not a great look.
Anyone notice anything similar or somehow figured out a back end way to clear things out?
Picture below shows I removed the 240k but it still shows in meta data to right (and this triggered approval for finance level 1 and 2 (our CFO)... all for a simple amendment)
