Workflows supporting internal & counterparty paper

It would be great if a workflow could be configured to support both uploading counterparty paper and generating an internal template when specific criteria is met.

Our specific use case is around Vendor agreements lacking privacy terms where we need to also add or sign our standard DPA. Ideal flow would be if the privacy questions on our intake form are answered in a way that indicates our DPA is required in addition to the Vendor form the workflow would generate our DPA and automatically add it as one of the main documents in the review stage.

I've been told that this functionality isn't there and I haven't heard that it's on the roadmap (hopefully I'm wrong). This is a big problem for us as well, for the exact use case you outlined and for a couple others.

For example I like to utilize Riders when possible, so that our various approvals teams don't need to approve if the vendor/client is willing to accept our  rider, which will cover the most important areas that are typically deficient for our needs (e.g. Billing Terms, Security Provisions, etc.). It would be great to have our internal team submit a contract on counterparty paper while also selecting that they want to utilize our rider. That packet of agreements would then be able to go straight out for signatures and only requiring review if the signature request is rejected or redlines are provided.
