I'm hoping to find out if anyone has figured a work around for getting certain groups to always review Required clauses in your agreements.
Use case: Majority of our major contracts are on third party paper and can be well over 100 pages - we need data security group to review and approve the "data protection" terms always.
My understanding is that in Playbooks, and please tell me if I'm wrong:
If you select the clause is "Required" it only searches for the "AI Powered Clause Type" and not the Standard Language. So if the clause is Not included it will be flagged to our data security group (the approver group), and if it Is included it won't be;
If you select "Acceptable" if the clause is Not included, it won't flag the approver group - if it Is included, it will search the terminology in the Standard Language section and flag it to the the approver group if it does not match;
If you select that it is "Restricted" if it is not included, it wont be flagged, but if it is included it will go to the approver group.
I'm curious 1. why, if the AI searches the standard language when 'acceptable' presence is selected, it doesn't when it's 'required'. 2. has anyone worked a way around getting the required clauses to be flagged always? Maybe outside of using Playbooks and somehow built a condition?
They're required clauses so we want to make sure the terminology is what we approve of. I love that the Approver gets pulled straight to the relevant clauses and would save our team so much time!
I'm almost hoping I've missed a crucial component to understanding the Playbooks feature so if anyone has any insight please comment. Thanks!
