We have configured an e-team approver for workflows that have auto-renewal (and no TFC) or exclusivity provisions. Problem is, 90% of our agreements initially have some form of those provisions, so the e-team member gets pinged a lot - too much really given that we almost always negotiate these provisions out in the final version. So, does anyone know of a way to set an approval condition so that the approver is not pinged until all other approvals are given (i.e. the doc is final but still has the provisions that need to be approved by the e-team rep) or some other way to not ping the e-team member until their approval, and the ping for it, really is necessary? Step ordering approvals is not a viable alternative for us, as it causes additional delays in approvals, and I believe the e-team member would still get an initial ping on the workflow when it is created if it contains the unwanted provisions. Any creative solutions would be much appreciated.
