Does anyone have issues when your counterparty is an Ironclad customer?
The good thing is that Ironclad is becoming the industry standard, but also there seems to be some issues when the counterparty is also an Ironclad customer.
For example:
- Prospective customer sends us their MNDA paper in a Word .docx file to review & redline
- Workflow Owner loads the Word .docx file into the launch form & kicks off a workflow review
- Legal reviews & approves in Ironclad (no redlines needed this time)
- Signature Coordinator goes to Place Tags but encounters this issue:
As you can see, the Demostack side is already tagged via embedded tags! This means that the counterparty is also an Ironclad customer & the tags are embedded in the Word .docx file.
But Ironclad should not be "reading" the tags this way when loaded into my instance. Ironclad should only be reading these tags when loaded into this counterparty's instance. Isn't that what this tagging code is for??
