If you upload the wrong version for whatever reason or click "Add to workflow" in the Activity Feed but select the wrong document, that's a real drag and I see it isn't just me:

Likewise if you keep spotting new typos, it would be better to be able to delete a version and add them all into the same version rather than end up on v6 from v3. A bit more freedom around versions would be great and would make comparisons much easier.

I get that we want to be able to leave a breadcrumb and ensure transparency, so maybe this should be limited via permissions.

As said in the other thread:

I think deleting a version is part of the ask. Maybe it is an "undo" type feature. Where the user can undo something they recently did.

but more importantly, reverting to a previous version just as we can revert to a previous version in WFD.

Audit trail of version history is important.

I think anyone that has Edit access should be able to restore a previous version. But would be OK with Admin's only.

Yes! A very timely and powerful request. Maybe to keep things simple, we can have similar style 2 step control set up as has been implemented recently for cancelling bulk workflows through Dashboard. Implementing a 2 step process could to a very large extent take away the risk of accidental deletion.
