Hi Super Users,
We are based in the US, but are expanding into the EU and beyond and as such, we have some contracts that must be signed in languages other than English. However, we need translated documents into English as backup, but they are not the final governing contract. Currently the workflow is:
- - Upload as contract for legal review in native language
- - Send for Translation, translation uploaded as new version of contract
- - Redlines/etc as needed, final version created both English and Translation
- - Native language version signed and uploaded, Archived to repository
In the repository, the only document being saved is the final native language signed version. Some users who need to review the document (ie accounting) have access to the repository, but not the workflow that created it so they cannot access the translations. My work-around has been to download the final translation, and upload it as an "add document" in the Edit feature of the repository.
My question is:
- Is there a better way I can be managing my workflow such that the translations auto-populate into the repository?
- Is there a way to give users access to workflows based on their repository access? I don't want everyone to have access to all workflows at any given time, due to privacy and general clogging of their interface issues.
Thank you all for your insights!
