Legal Counsel
to join Neste’s Legal team in Espoo, Finland.
Your role is to proactively provide legal support to Neste's global IT related issues. You will provide legal support and advice in relation to data, cyber security, privacy and the procurement of IT services. You will report to the Vice President, Legal and belong also to Neste’s global Legal team.

Your role in our team
- Provide legal advice and support related to data, cyber security, privacy and the procurement of IT services;
- Draft, review, and negotiate various types of IT agreements;
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as IT, procurement, and others to ensure compliance with legal requirements and mitigate legal risks;
- Participate in litigations and disputes as needed, including managing external counsel where necessary;
- Stay up to date with relevant legal and regulatory developments in the IT and technology field, and advise the business on potential impacts and opportunities; and
- Develop and deliver training to educate internal stakeholders on legal issues related to IT, data and technology
Keys to success in this role
- Master's degree in law
- A minimum of approximately 3 years of post degree experience in IT and technology contracting
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, including an excellent command of English
- High integrity combined with a business-minded approach to legal matters and a genuine desire to proactively collaborate with stakeholders
- Humble, yet can-do attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a result-driven mindset focused on continuous improvement in a constantly developing commercial environment
