Can you remove a signatory when it is their turn to sign?

Hi all,

I have an issue in which sometimes a signatory needs to be removed when it is their turn to sign. In DocuSign I could go in an correct the envelop, but I have not found a solution in contracts sent via Ironclad to remove signers when it is their turn to sign. I see I can remove signers when it is NOT their turn, but curious if anyone else has had this issue and come up with a solution.
