We have created a Playbook for NDAs but I am having a heck of a time getting it to work in a simple way to allow Non Legal folks to review documents. Here are the main issues I'm having...
Non Allowable Clauses - I have identified several clauses we would NOT want to see in a Counterparty NDA and I selected SHOULD NOT appear for the clause in the playbook but it comes up with a message at the review stage that says the clause requirements have missing usages. Is there a way for it to scan for the undesired clauses and if they are they - red flag and if they are not then nothing?
Playbook access and Instructions - From the Review stage there is nothing intuitive that tells the User to click on Edit and nothing obvious showing where the playbook is, it's just a small hidden icon that you have to hover over, no one would know it's there. How are other folks instructing teams to use the Playbook feature?
Our goal is to get Legal out of NDAs but leave the workflow owner with a way for the system to identify the problematic clauses and remove or negotiate them using Playbooks. We are not using AI Assist right now but the way it is positioned in the playbook instructions it looks like this should more a more user friendly function than it appears to be while testing. Admittedly I may need to tweak some things in workflow designer but I could not find any best practices for useful scenarios to pull from. Any help or guidance is appreciated.
