I would like to see a Common Clause Library (or Shared Clause Library).
Clauses that are used in various agreements (Governing Law is my favorite easy example, but there are many) should only have to be created once in Ironclad and then inserted into contracts with references. Any playbook or AI information should also be included with that common clause.
Then in a contract template, it would be drafted to say <insert Governing-Law-Common-Clause from library> and would dynamically be added to that template. It could also be part of an if/then statement (If US=Yes, <insert US-Gov-Law-Common from library>, Else <insert Intl-Gov-Law-Common>)
This way if we change the language in a common clause (say we update Gov Law form CA to WA), we only have to change it in once place and all templates that use it would use the new clause when dynamically created. We also wouldn't have to write the same playbook language in every agreement for the same clause. I don't have hard numbers by I wouldn't be surprised if 75% of our clauses show up in at least 2 templates, and 30% of clauses are in at least 3 or more contracts.
To the extent that being a "competitive factor" helps push ideas, this was a top 3 must have when I was shopping for a CLM at a prior company.
