- $121,947 - $130,000 yearly, Exempt. This role has the potential to go up to $143,154 yearly with time and demonstrated success in the role.

Position Summary:
The Director of Risk Management (DRM) partners directly with the CFO and across the organization. The DRM leads the organization's risk management work. This includes evaluating and prioritizing organizational risk, conducting assessments, and developing plans to address, and mitigate risks while collaborating across the organization. The DRM is also responsible for managing the corporate liability insurance process and serving as a key point of contact surrounding the organization's interest in the building.
Essential Functions:
Compliance and Risk Mitigation
- Partner with the Chief Financial Officer, other Executive Team, and LLC board committee members to evaluate and prioritize organizational risk. Conduct risk assessments, and develop plans to address, and mitigate risk collaborating across the organization.
- Develop internal policies, and procedures as needed to govern and execute fraud and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate throughout the organization, develop and implement processes for the internal review, approval, and signing of contracts and agreements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with contracts and agreements.
- Work with the CFO to develop organization policies and standards to ensure appropriate regulations are followed.
- Serve as an organizational leader for safety initiatives.
- Partner across the organization in developing and facilitating the review of policies and procedures related to compliance and organizational risk management. Examples may include: employee policies & procedures; IT systems & data security; employee & child safety.
- Work with the CFO to manage the organization’s liability insurance ensuring appropriate coverage. Ensure appropriate mitigation processes are in place.
Facilities Management and Real Estate
- Work with the CFO to manage the organization’s investment and operations of buildings and real estate through the 2100 Building LLC.
- Partner with the CFO and 2100 Building LLC Board, to develop short- and long-term goals.
- Oversee the relationship and work of the property management company and other external parties as determined by the CFO.
- Design, develop, and implement processes to provide effective budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for facilities and real estate.
- Work with Treehouse’s accounting department and external property management company to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting for all property-related operations and organizations.
Team Management and Leadership
- Create a positive and “customer-focused” work environment.
- Deploy team members efficiently and effectively toward organizational goals.
- Mentor and provide staff opportunities for continued professional development.
- Set priorities, delegate responsibilities, assure accountability, and allocate resources to ensure results.
- As a member of the Directors Team, contribute to organizational goals, strategic planning, budgeting, and effective organizational management and communication.
- Participate in defining strategy metrics, setting targets and goals, and developing methods to monitor quarterly and annual progress.

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated expertise in Finance, Property Management, and Risk Assessment.
- A commitment to and proven experience in diversity, cultural relevancy, cultural humility, inclusion, and undoing institutional racism is required.
- Ability to translate financial information, data, and reporting and create learning environments for program leaders.
- Proven track record of breaking down and solving complex problems with impeccable business judgment.
- Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional initiatives.
- Degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent education/experience.
- Ten plus years of progressive, professional experience.
- Proven experience with managing staff, outside vendors, budgeting, financial analysis, and planning.
- Ability to clearly present financial information, complex analyses, and strategic recommendations at an executive level.
- Experience with large scale systems implementations preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build working relationships with individuals of various ages, cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds and abilities.
- Ability and aptitude with Microsoft O365 and other technology necessary for successful day-to-day functioning in business environment.
- Preferred experience in Non Profit organization work
- Clear nationwide criminal background check and driving record background check.
