I'm trying to think through whether there is a way to automate the addition of certain individual users to an in-flight workflow under a pre-set condition. Use case is, if (and only if) one of our third-party vendor agreements is for a new software/tool, we want to add a handful of users as participants/for visibility into new potential software purchasing decisions, but we don't want to make them reviewers/approvers. Just trying to figure out if there is a way we could bake their participation in via workflow designer to get ahead of the need to manually add them as participants by @-mentioning them in a comment after the workflow has been started.
I know I could set up a custom email to notify these users that the workflow exists, but they wouldn't necessarily have workflow access in this case, correct?
Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated!
