• The Contracts Manager will play a critical role in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts that are vital to Cosm's business operations, including being an integral partner in creating and implementing policies for our inaugural Cosm venue in Los Angeles, CA, and second venue in The Colony, Texas. This position involves working closely with the legal team and business units to minimize risk exposure through sound contracts and compliance practices. The ideal candidate has a strong legal background, excels at stakeholder engagement, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and revision of contracts, including licensing agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and partnership agreements.
• Analyze and interpret contract terms and conditions, identifying potential risks and proposing necessary modifications to protect the company's interests.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with business objectives, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to policy drafting, ensuring alignment with legal and industry standards.
• Oversee clearance work for contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
• Play a vital role in risk management associated with contracts and business operations.
• Manage contract approval processes, ensuring all necessary internal reviews and approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain a contract management system, including templates, databases, and tracking mechanisms, to ensure efficient contract administration and reporting.
• Conduct periodic contract audits to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Support the development and implementation of contract management policies, procedures, and training programs to promote consistency and compliance across the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree is preferred
• Experience reviewing contracts, preferably in a technology company

The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $102,706 - $136,941. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
