Job Summary:
As a Legal Operations Facilitator at CEF, you will provide essential support to the global legal department in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring streamlined processes. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about legal operations, eager to learn, and has strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist in administrative tasks, such as document management, electronic filing, and scheduling, to ensure the smooth functioning of the legal department.
- Technology Assistance: Support the legal team in utilizing and maintaining legal technology and software solutions, including contract lifecycle management tools (for example, Ironclad) and other legal-related contract technology.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Handle data entry tasks, generate basic reports, and support in tracking key performance indicators.
- Project Support: Participate in legal projects by helping with tasks and ensuring timely progress.
- Contract Management Assistance: Provide support for the contract management process and assist in maintaining contract records.
- Legal Documentation: Assist in the development and maintenance of legal department documents, guidelines, and training materials.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with legal professionals and non-legal staff to support their operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Preferred (but not required for the right candidate): Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field.
- Some experience in legal operations, administration, or a related role is a plus.
- Basic understanding of legal processes and technology.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of UK and/or US legal and regulatory compliance is a bonus.
This role will be operated on a hybrid basis with a mix of home and office working.
