Legal Counsel – Commercial Legal

About the job
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Legal, you will work closely with experienced and motivated colleagues across Falck Legal & Compliance who are committed to contributing to your success and your professional and personal development. You will also work in close collaboration with key stakeholders in several of Falck’s businesses developing strong and commercially viable solutions supporting Falck’s strategy and commercial agendas.
In addition, your main tasks will involve:
- Being an active key member of Falck Legal & Compliance and provide thorough and solid legal advice to decision makers in a truly international environment.
- Developing a deep understanding of Falck’s businesses to deliver commercially sound and value-adding legal advice.
- Building and maintaining close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the performance of our business.
- Playing a role in advising our business units on commercial law matters, including contracts, tenders (both public and private) and commercial dispute management and resolution.
- Actively participating in planning, reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and coordinating various contracts, tender documents, and standard terms of business.
- Being part of our digital journey leveraging on digital solutions and AI in close collaboration with our businesses.
- Engaging external legal advisors and monitor, control and coordinate their support.
About you
Our next employee holds a master’s degree in law with a can-do attitude and a team player mentality. In addition, we imagine that you:
- Are a responsible and solution-oriented legal professional with a true interest in helping the businesses grow.
- Have a can-do attitude and the mindset to proactively solve problems.
- Have an attention to details combined with an ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
- Have an interest in building and maintaining close working relationships with stakeholders.
- Have experience as a legal advisor with focus on commercial contracts and/or tender processes, and perhaps have some experience within healthcare, consumer, marketing, insurance, or other regulated areas.
- Have a minimum of 2 years full-time professional experience from an internationally oriented law firm or a similar in-house position, or other employment of relevance.
- Possibly are licensed (or on the way) to practice as an attorney in one of the Scandinavian countries.
- Are professionally proficient in English and at least one of the Scandinavian languages.
