Has someone from Ironclad ever thought about the possibility to import into a workflow the "Draft" Word version of your parent agreement?
Here is a simple scenario : You want to amend a contract. Your amendment will include a cover page mentioning that "the version attached replaces the signed agreement". You should be able to import the Draft of the parent workflow, and then edit such draft to create the amended version. You will then collect new signatures on both the amendment cover page and the amended agreement.
For record keeping - it's always easier to have a "as amended" version at hand. Ironclad currently does not make it easy to amend contracts, which is quite surprising ...
Some will say that you could upload a PDF version of the signed agreement, but it will not make it convenient, especially if you need a copy with signature for compliance reasons or for the exercise of certain rights .
