Like many legal teams, we prefer to negotiate contracts in Word vs the in-app editor. Accordingly, the "Edit in Word" feature seemed like a big help, since our understanding is that the other alternative is to download the doc and then manually reupload as a new version.
Unfortunately, because we have Word configured to open all files in protected view, this feature does not work - or at least that is my understanding of the reason it is not working. My understanding from Ironclad is that this is a Microsoft issue and out of their control. We could turn it off, but that would open us up to risk we would prefer not to have 🙂
I'm guessing we are going to have to stick with downloading / uploading, but just wanted to double check someone else out there hadn't figured out a better way.
