TLDR: I have a complex SOW w/f and want to find out ways to either simplify or make more efficient.
I wanted to reach out to the community to find out if/how folks have used Ironclad to create workflows which allow for complex and customised Statement of Work/Service Agreements. The workflow asks the sales person various commercial questions, around the services (deliverables, milestones, dates, fees, acceptance criteria, escalation matrix etc...) which depend on Fixed Price, T&M, Bundled services, type of service offered.
The Sales team find it challenging to answer and edit the document instead of metadata when changes are required.
My concern is that the launch form is too complex/detailed and is asking too much of Ironclad (or my technical ability). It may be better to rather just allow the workflow to spit out a blank legal document and let the sales team edit the word doc as they see fit, remove legal approval (which at the moment is only required when the document is manually edited).
I find that the limitations of the system require counterintuitive workarounds which put the sales team off using the workflow and would really like to hear about any tips or tricks that folks use to create and edit service agreements. Fully aware that the key 'issue' may be user error on my part.
