Today Ironclad's first ever State of AI Report report was published to help legal professionals understand how AI is affecting the industry.
According to the independent survey of 800 legal professionals across law firms and in-house, 71% trust AI and 74% use it for legal work, with 92% reporting improved work quality as a result. Not surprisingly, in-house legal departments lead in AI adoption at 87%, compared to 60% for law firms. Other key findings include the top use cases for AI, top blockers to adoption, and sentiments around how AI might affect jobs or satisfaction.
