Setting up automatic reminders for in-progress workflows

Hi everyone,

We use third party forms for one of our workflows, which sends a form to the counterparty to complete information necessary to generate the contract. We are running into an issue where the counterparty often forgets about the request, or procrastinates it for weeks (or more). Right now, our workflow owners are clicking that "remind" button manually every week or so for the laggards, but there are enough of these that they are asking me if there's a way to automate this. I haven't found one -- is anyone doing something similar?

I do see how to set up automated reminders in the Repository, but since these contracts are not complete, they are not in the repository.
