We are looking for an experienced Legal Operations Analyst to advance the function and services of our Legal Operations team. You will be reporting directly to the Global Legal Operations Manager, being a pivotal part of the team. You will also work daily with attorneys and staff that support North America, the United Kingdom, EU operations, and Australia. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the in-house legal team and work on various projects that significantly impact the business and the Legal team.
Working as part of the Legal Operations team requires excellent attention to detail, communication skills, along with the ability to operate with initiative and accuracy at speed. The questions and projects you work on can be varied and new, requiring resourcefulness and initiative to problem-solve. This role will offer a moderate level of autonomy and so the right candidate should be able to spot issues and risks, as well as escalate them accordingly. As part of an ever-growing team, you will need to be willing to share learnings and support fellow-team members where you have valuable insight, adding to the existing positive and dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist in administrative tasks such as document management, electronic filing, and scheduling to ensure the smooth functioning of the Legal team.
- Technology Assistance: Support the Legal team in utilizing and maintaining legal technology and software solutions, including contract lifecycle management tools (for example, Ironclad) and other legal-related contract technology.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Handle data entry tasks and generate reports.
- Legal Project Support: Assist in legal projects by helping with tasks and ensuring timely progress.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Legal team and non-legal staff to support their operational needs, building strong relationships within the business.
Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience working in the legal industry or supporting legal teams.
- Experience in using software such as CLM platforms; Ironclad would be beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
- Some experience in change management, implementing changes within the legal team/business, including training team members on new processes and systems.
- Knowledge in process mapping and designing legal workflows.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
