Automatic "Inactive" Status Update for Child or Related Contracts of Terminated Parent Contract

I am been working on ensuring all our data is up to date including the "Status" of contracts within the repository to enable better insights on our contracts cross-departmentally.

Currently, when terminating an agreement using the "Status" feature -- it only enables you to do so per record. Therefore, after terminating a Parent Record you still have to terminate each Child or Related Record. 

Ideal Solution - When you terminate a Parent Record -- there should be a checkbox in the above window that asks if I would like to terminate all child records/related records/etc. (which will terminate upon terminating the Parent Record).

I like this idea with the additional note that sometimes we have child agreements (SOWs, Order Forms), that if the parent agreement terminates or expires, the SOW or Order Form continues until the end of the term set out in the SOW/Order Form and as to that child document, the MSA continues to govern it.

i.e. you can terminate an MSA but if there is an SOW that is only 1 year into its 3 year term, it runs the final 2 years but can't be renewed after that.
