Hello. I'm reaching out to the Ironclad Community for suggestions/best practices regarding use of the Supersede action. Let's say that I have an active contract that is not expiring until 2029; however, an amendment has been executed that deletes a provision of the contract in its entirety and replaces it with new language. My current practice is to Supersede the original contract; thereby listing the contract as "Inactive" which is not at all the case. The amendment is related to the original agreement. When hovering over the pill to the orignal agreement it states that the "Inactive" contract has been superseded. Is there a way to keep the original contract as "Active" even when it's been superseded by an amendment? My concern is if I keep the original contract as "Active", what will trigger someone looking in the Repository to seek out the amendment(s) for changes to the original agreement? I look forward to the community's feedback and suggestions. Thank you.
