While the addition of Lifecycle Properties was, IMO, a great improvement to the "old" repository, it appears that making changes and updates to a contract's Lifecycle Properties (LP) is rendered more complicated with the new version. Previously, when cleaning up missing data in the LP while in the repository, one could be viewing the contract while making these changes. That functionality seems to have disappeared and now one has to open the contract file in a separate tab to be able to get the data needed for the LP update. LP seems to disappear in the Edit mode. Given that we have numerous legacy files that require updating, this is an painstaking process.
One of Ironclad's best attributes was the relative simple and clean repository. The search functionality was easy for viewers to understand and utilize. Not so with this combined platform. Search confidence is marginal at best and viewers who simply want to be able to find a completed contract are more likely to reach out to legal rather than do it themselves as a result.
