Use case, sometimes when placing tags I realize I need to change the signer.
Currently, I have to exit and cancel progress of placing tags & then redo that work after I change the signer.
Just allow me to change signers here (see screenshot)
@David_Wieseneck I'm currently building a new NDA workflow and am struggling with understanding how to set it up if for example, the customer is wanting to take a look at our NDA and is not necessarily ready to sign it, or the signatory is a totally different person/department. Yet on the WF we are forced to enter the counterparty signatory details? 😕
Hey Irina -Turn on this setting in workflow designer.
You can also just share it from the Review step - if they are not ready to sign.

David,
Thanks for your quick response and awesome suggestions! I got those two things turned on/figured out.
However, still struggling with a scenario of a sales rep coming to Legal to request an NDA for their customer... Typically, we just provide a copy to the sales rep and they take it to their customer which then could be passed around on their side until they come back either ready to sign or with redlines from their legal department.
My question is, how can we manage this via Ironclad? Are you suggesting using the 'share documents' function but sending to our sales rep instead?
Thanks!
-Irina
You can give your sales reps access to Ironclad. They can download the PDF or Word doc themselves and send it to the customer. Or they cans use the Share Document functionality themselves.
Or use try out the New Counterparty Collaboration Features:https://support.ironcladapp.com/s/article/New-Counterparty-Collaboration-Features
I've had the same problem with being able to change the signer after the doc is signed. I submitted to IC support as well. Should just have an edit button so you can switch either the internal signer or counterparty signer.
Yes exactly. @Sean_Ringer
Agreed on the need to be able to edit signatory information after the document is signed. I think more than half of our signatory information is crap because it gets re-routed frequently.
I agree. This is frustrating!
So frustrating.
This is still an absolute need!! The inability to make changes at the tagging stage is frustrating and inefficient.
