Hi Everyone,
Currently my company does not use Ironclad signature. One of the main reasons why is our primary signer (our CEO) requests a cover letter attached to the signature packet that provides a brief summary of what he is signing.Since Ironclad combines documents for signature, the counterparty would see the summary page which we do not want. DocuSign provides a feature called "Document Visibility" which allows the sender of the signature packet to choose which documents the counterparty can and cannot see. Ironclad support has confirmed they do not have similar capability.
It doesn't seem like there is any other place in the workflow to leave a summary besides a written one in the activity feed (which i don't like because it can get lost in new activity). Emailing him the summary page is also not advised as that can also be extremely hard to track and a potential time waste.
So I pose the question to the community. Has your company been in a similar situation and what resources do you use, or are there any insights you can provide for my situation?
Thanks,
