I would like to propose an enhancement to the reviewer instructions feature in Ironclad. Currently, the instructions for reviewers are limited in formatting options, which can make it challenging to convey detailed and clear guidance.
Suggestion:
Introduce rich text editing capabilities for reviewer instructions. This would include options to:
- Bold, italicize, and underline text
- Add hyperlinks
- Include hard returns and line spaces
- Insert data fields and conditions
Benefits:
- Improved clarity and readability of instructions
- Ability to link directly to relevant internal and external documents or resources
- Enhanced organization of information with formatting options
Observations:
- The inability to include data fields in the instructions is a significant limitation, especially when trying to provide specific guidance for reviewers.
- The lack of hard returns and line spaces can make the instructions appear cluttered and harder to follow.
My colleagues and I think that mplementing these enhancements would greatly improve the user experience for reviewers and streamline the review process.
