I have a question about AI Suggestions when importing contracts into Ironclad:
When a contract is imported, Ironclad uses OCR to identify metadata (e.g., Effective Date, Term, etc.) and generates AI Suggestions that users are expected to validate.
Is there a published list of all the clause types that Ironclad’s AI will attempt to identify and suggest? I haven’t been able to locate anything in the Help Center or product documentation.
Has anyone in the community created a plain-language dictionary or guide for AI Suggestions? I’m looking for something that can help non-legal users understand what’s being suggested, so they can confidently verify or reassign the suggestion to the correct field.
As background: I recently conducted a small audit of imported contracts and found that several users accepted AI Suggestions without verifying that the correct clause was mapped to the correct AI Suggestion. This created data accuracy issues and has raised some concerns about governance and training.
Would love to hear how others are managing this and if you’ve developed any internal resources or best practices.
